關於時間的思辨始終是迷人的,「一個鐘面上找不到靜止的時間」波特萊爾說。兩個握有原子鐘的男子,其中一個正以超越光速遠離又折返,當原地不動的那位看向對方,歲月彷彿在他臉上靜止了,這是愛因斯坦的重力時間膨脹(Gravitational Time Dilation)。在班雅明的星座下靈光閃爍,在王家衛鑲嵌的時光碎片裡撿拾。這些靜止又流動、將到而未到、微弱且充滿能量的當下,比起刻化為分為秒來說,更是深刻。

時間在我們身上留下痕跡,若不時常認真注視自己,光從回憶片刻裡點開回顧,會以為我們到過許多遠方,解鎖許多人生成就,再感慨時間把我們推進地太快,又隨即陷入迷茫的未來。其實我們離原點(原始的自我)很近,只需此時此刻,留步當下。

The contemplation of time is endlessly captivating.
“You will not find still time on a clock face,” said Baudelaire.
Imagine two men, each holding an atomic clock.
One travels away faster than light, only to return.
As the one who stayed watches him,
time appears frozen on the traveler’s face—
Einstein’s Gravitational Time Dilation made visible.
Under Benjamin’s constellation, a spark of aura flickers.
In the time-shattered fragments of Wong Kar-wai’s cinema, we gather fleeting moments.
These moments—still yet flowing, arriving yet not, faint yet full of energy—
speak more deeply than time measured in minutes and seconds.

Time leaves traces on us.
If we rarely pause to truly observe ourselves,
memories may trick us into thinking we’ve journeyed far,
unlocked life’s achievements,
only to sigh at how quickly time has passed—
and suddenly find ourselves lost in an unclear future.
But in truth,
we are still close to where we began—
our original selves.
What we need is simply this moment,
to pause,
and remain
here,
now.

這是一場回到“第一棟完成的建築案”辦的攝影展,想找回做設計最單純的熱情,實質地踏回到了原點。
當我們越去探討「原點」是什麼時,發現就是「當下」。

攝影取材都擷取至生活相關的片刻,一部分畫面是經由底片及暗房加工,一部分是拍立得,少部分數位輔佐,在影像創作過程中找回初衷,也是一種好好生活的方式。
如果有人發現,展場2F的創作皆來自一顆雞蛋,那是我們給予你/妳們最好的祝福。

當下即是禮物。

This photography exhibition marks a return to the very first building project I completed.
It is a journey back to the purest passion for design—
a literal step back to the beginning.

The more we reflect on what the “origin” truly is,
the more we realize: it is the present moment.

All photographs are drawn from fragments of daily life.
Some images are developed through film and darkroom processes,
some captured with instant cameras,
and a few supported by digital tools.
In the act of creating these images, I rediscovered my original intention—
a quiet, intentional way of living.

And if you happen to notice that every work in the second-floor space begins with an egg,
then that is our way of offering you the very best of blessings.

The present is a present.
